All Levels Adult Class

If you are triathlon ready or just getting back in shape, the All Levels Adult Class is for you. In it, we teach solid fundamentals that work for people from white belt to black belt level. It starts with a brief warm up to get the body and mind ready. We follow that up with one standing technique that we drill safely with our partner. This is followed up by learning two ground techniques from the 13 week course curriculum, to which we allocate 10 minutes of total drilling time (five minutes for each technique). The last 20 minutes of class are spent sparring from the specific positions that we were taught that day. Jiu Jitsu is all about application. We learn best when our opponent is resisting us with maximum effort.

The class ends with one hour of sparring under the supervision of our instructors. Whether you can stay for only one round or all of the rounds, you are encouraged to push yourself during this time and to use the techniques you have been methodical taught.

No gi/Combatives

The gi, or kimono, is the traditional uniform for Jiu Jitsu. It allows grips and movement configurations that do not exist when not wearing it. This class specifically works on techniques for when the opponent is not wearing that uniform. We also use this class as a time to emphasis self defense. There will be a time during the class where we will safely utilize strikes and strike defense to help make more well rounded practitioners.

If you have wondered “Would my Jiu Jitsu work in a confrontation?” or “Will my Jiu Jitsu be there when I need it?”, then this is the class for you. It will leave no doubts as to why this is the best self-defense system in the world. Whether you are training to keep your family safe, to make it back to them at end of shift, or for fun and fitness, then this is the class for you.

Children’s Programs

Our children’s programs are aimed at building strong, confident, and capable students. We focus on body movement, threat awareness, de-escalation, and self defense skills. Through a structured curriculum, we help mold children’s self esteem and bolster their self image. We try to immunize your child to physical bullying. In addition to this, Ribeiro Jiu Jitsu can help children reach the highest levels in the sport Jiu Jitsu world. Through our system, children learn new skills and discipline while making bonds with peers that can last them a lifetime.
